Archive Digging Hour: The Tiny Time

As the title indicates, it's time to dig in the archives because there's nothing new in the notebook. I think it's either about nuclear war or doing the laundry when you really don't want to.

Comment(s): Worthwhile, but subpar.

The Tiny Time
The tiny time happened
and all the tin split
smaller than atoms
small as a bit
of sodium chloride.
In a salty steam
the oceans evaporated
like salted ice cream.
And ma in her kerchief
and I in my blouse
standing on boxes
underneath of our house.
Past the steam engine
through railyard bypass
we wept at the skyline
and railed at the crass
market that failed us,
as we slipped and drowned
on dire bleach banquets
run rampant. On the ground,
the great tides
suck small baths of bleach
as miles of smiles
began to depleat.
A deficit of smiles
on a deserted beach.
